Located in Toronto’s High Park neighbourhood, the Swansea Residence is a full-home transformation designed to bring calm, connection, and functionality to a busy family home. Guided by biophilic design principles, every space was reimagined to deepen the connection between indoors and outdoors, using natural light, organic materials, and framed views to anchor the home in its ravine setting.

The renovation included a complete gut with all-new plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, basement underpinning, all new windows with revised openings, new staircases, and raised ceilings to open sightlines and create a more intuitive flow. The exterior was reclad and paired with new hardscaping to unify the architecture with the landscape. Throughout, craftsmanship and thoughtful design details were treated as uncompromising priorities, shaping rooms that feel both timeless and deeply considered.

A muted, 1930s-inspired palette sets a serene foundation that complements the surrounding nature while subtly nodding to the home’s era. Layered textures, integrated storage, and quiet transitional spaces introduce a sense of ease to daily routines, creating a home that feels grounded, personal, and beautifully lived in.
