Set along a stunning stretch of lakefront in the Kawarthas, this two-storey cottage with a full walk-out lower level was designed for repeat clients looking to create a year-round retreat. The home balances natural warmth with refined simplicity, offering generous spaces for gathering and quiet corners for relaxation.
Inside, the design draws inspiration from the changing tones of the water, with layers of soft blues, gentle greys, and natural textures flowing throughout the interior to create a serene connection to the landscape beyond. The open kitchen, pantry, and mudroom were carefully planned for function and flow, supporting long weekends of hosting and everyday comfort.
Guest bedrooms and a home office provide flexibility for both work and leisure, while the walk-out level opens directly to the lake, extending the living space outdoors. Thoughtful details, durable finishes, and a timeless palette make this cottage feel effortless, a continuation of our clients’ story.
